Faces of Life

They said, sometimes one picture can be worth a thousand words or textbooks. And by seeing the face of a person, things can be read without the mouth explaineth.
In my travels, I have had encounter so many people both on road travels & by planes. Staying in a metropolis with a crowded people cannot be barely avoided but meeting different types of people from different walks of life.
What made me so like and appreciated the more about the faces of the people are those who are living in the countryside both locals and abroad.
Their innocence and kindness are very apparent and amazing. The uniqueness & expression of their faces is mesmerizing and appealing too.
It's amazing how their faces give you insight about how life treats them and their happiness in life. Let me share some pictures of different faces that I have encountered in this world.

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU GOING TO

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU GOING TO
(Diana Ross)
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?

Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open doors
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?

Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies
That filled our minds
You knew how I loved you
But my spirit was free
Laughin' at the questions
That you once asked of me

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?

Now looking back at all we've planned
We let so many dreams
Just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long
Before we'll see
How sad the answers
To those questions can be

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?

Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open doors
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?

This song was sang by Diana Ross, theme song from her movie Mahogany which she starred herself.
The song is asking a certain assurance in life about the future.I really like this song so much.It has been my question in life since I started to realize the uncertainties of my future...

IN THIS JOURNEY CALLED LIFE

csliew92.blogspot.com/

In this earthly journey, each of us is not blessed with abundance in life. Some were born with a silver spoon on their mouth, while the others on the opposite.
Some may born literally poor but richly blessed in the end because of hard work & determination to escape in the quicksand of poverty. As we journey through life, we'll probably notice that things begin to change little by little. We get more responsibilites & faced challenges. Its like playing cards, which tricky games involved just to get win, or we use mathematical methods to get the winning pair. If you play your cards rightly, in the end, lossing is far from your hands.
Our future is a game that must be played with winning strokes to assure us of victory. As we are coming of age each day, it is these years of our lives that we attempt to build a world of our own without any assistance given by our parents in order for us to walk independently.
Life is full of frustrations while you continue to walk in this lonely life....what we are going to do is enjoy what life has to offer, or else we won't be able to do it again when we started to fade slowly..that word's of goodbye is highly pronounced.

CONTRASTED LIVES

CONSTRASTED LIVES
Jesus and Alexander died at 33.
One lived and died for seld; one died for you and me.
The Greek died on a throne; the Jew died on a cross.
One's life a triumph seemed; the other but a loss.
One's led vast armies forth; the other walked alone.
One shed a whole world's blood; the other gave His own.
One won the world in life and lost it all in death;
the other lost His life to win the whole world's faith.
Jesus and Alexander died at 33.
The Greek made all men slaves; the Jew made all men free.
One built a throne on blood; the other built on love.
The one was born of earth; the other from above.
The one won all this earth, to lose all earth and heaven.
The other gave up all, that all to Him be given.
The Greek forever died; the Jew forever lives.
He loses all who gets; he wins all things who gives.
-Charles Ross Wedge-

I'm back from such a couple of days in silence...miss blogging and updating. Usually when I blog, I don't just post them here directly without checking and writing them in a piece of paper and check the necessary errors like spelling, grammar and of course digging out my serious ideas with the help of my dictionary using a little hard of vocabularies, before scribbling them here in my personal blog.
These past weeks up to now, have been so painful and excruciating hot weeks. Jobless, penniless, boring life, frustrations and disappoinments keeps on confronting me.
Resulting to this adversaries, I really don't know what to do and where to go. I left for Olongapo the second week of March just to accompany my cousin picking up her estrange bf from Japan.
My stayed there was good since I got the chance to see my classmates back in High School. We discussed about the possible initial reunion of our class. I never been home for 3 years so I seized the opportunities I had to roam around the city.
Familiar landmarks are still there stood in remembrance of the good old Olongapo heydays. When I got back from Olongapo, bundle of problems scattered away. Boy, life is getting harder everyday so as my world is getting smaller in Cavite.
Avoiding the hot boring summer, I stayed at my co-teachers place watching movies as I needed too...wow, you heard that, as much as I want too.
As a movie geek, I sorted them and balancing what movie should I consider to be favorite aside from movies in the 80's.
Among the films I had watched this summer was, "August Rush" captures the moment of my life. Watching it truly moves my heart and bring so much wet of tears in my eyes but I decided to control them so as my co-teachers won't laugh at me.
Gee, love the movie so much, good thing that my co-teachers has a taste on selecting movies that has quality....listen, quality.
So much more, I found this message from a certain devotional while I was browsing the book to pass the time....this Contrasted Lives captured my emotion pondering deeply how God gave His son for us sakes....are we making our lives accorind to His will? its a question that needs an answer right?

Well, here are the movies that erases the boredom I had this week.

IN LIFE; SAFE OR SORRY?

Life could be very tricky. One day you're up, the next day you're down. Having a stable and good paying job is life's safety net against uncertainties.
World crisis is still a financial catastrophic, that leaves the humanity in tears and a pocket threat.
Everyone wants to be successful in life, and success in life is all about finding the perfect fit-with your partner, educations, chose endeavors and more importantly, your career.
We couldn't recognize the small thrive in an environment much different from the one in which we desire to be.
Honest to goodness, we continue to strive not just to earn something in this world but for the survival of the crisis that continue to wash out the world's stability.
At the end of the day, what is important is not simply what you and I have done, but the reason why we do things.
Planning every single of our dreams and desires is like plotting a quarters worth of meals.
After all these struggles in life, anchoring to God's promises is the best propeller that we can use, (as) today's is the eliminations of the unfit and the survival of the fittest.

LIVE WHERE TIME CAN'T REACH YOU

Daydreaming is one of my favorite pastimes. I tried to relish it in a serene privacy to a certain peace and quite place so that I could fully concentrate well. Picturing myself living in a dream place with the undisturbed slopes of the world is truly a perfect time for daydreaming.
Bombarded with so much pressure in the work, political issues, economic crisis, etc. can cruelly tear you down both the emotions and physical.
More than a decade now, I have been plainly rejected and declined by applying abroad. My patience has been tested and the good thing about me is that I never retreat nor surrender. I'm not that strong neither a weak.
I am truly fascinated and happy at the same time seeing my friends back then who successfully made their luck abroad. Almost of them are settling in USA and some of them are partly living in the Middle East.
My daydreaming is still lives on and it wouldn't be drifted till the good break leaps me to a places I long to see. I am already worn out and bored staying in the country without any hopes and assurance. The only simple pleasure I have is checking our batch website in the net every now and then, peeping out what's new and who's newly registered among of my classmates or batchmates in high school.
It's the only recreations I have to eradicate boredoms and monotonous life. Sometimes my updating of this blog takes time before I came to a point of plunging my fingers to type whatever ideas I have.
This is the kind of life I have in right now, yet, I controlled myself of not whining too much as the Lord would certainly sad and refuse to pour out His blessings. Well, that's the life we have in this sinful world.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY:WE ARE LIKE CASSETTE PLAYER

Life is a journey. We are like a CASSETTE PLAYER. It has Play, Rewind, Forward, Record, Eject and Pause. Most of the time we are PLAYING are life journey, Sometimes we REWIND our Past, Also we FAST FORWARD for our dreams and ambitions, We also RECORD most of our experiences. But if you have problems in life, just PAUSE..... but never ever touch the EJECT because that is withdrawal from one's happiness, or even quitting from one's life.PERSONS ARE GIFTS FROM GOD TO US...We are all gifts wrapped with different wrappers and colors. But whether you are wrapped with SPECIAL DELIVERY or ORDINARY PAPER, it's not a big deal because what is important.....you are wrapped with LOVE.You are a person, you are a gift...

One of the websites that I like to visit is, a website that is being organized by my neighbor and schoolmate in OCNHS..one of the entries of their blog was about Life is a Journey..hence,we are like Cassette player being played repeatedly, aren't we?. We sometimes live the recorded things that we do everyday, or we keep on blaming ourselves about the failures that we have had in the past.
Hence, the quotation above is just a self-explanatory...its up to you on how you see things as it is or how you interpret it.
