PUERTO AZUL BLASTS

We took our Korean students to Puerto Azul as their special trip since they longed to see the fine beaches in the Philippines.
Sad to say,I wasn't satisfied of the trip which my expectations was a world class one.Puerto Azul was considered to be one of the best destinations for beach bummers...yet,it's not what you expected to see.
I was searching for the Puerto (rich)Azul (blue)around, yet, I couldnt find them...it's just the lushful greenery preserved forest.

Just to prove that I've been there.....This is the entrance way to the lobby area. The building were quite old and baroque...

Up on the way to the reception area...Seeing those hanging well decorated and designed shells gives the lobby more attractive and cozy.

The receiving area which is so wide and spacious...look impressived isn't it.The spiral design of the sailing was so breathtaking.

I stood and awe with that hanging pasted shells as chandeuliers(dont know the spelling)....I don't know exactly if it has bulb on it....but it's truly amazing.

The not so beautiful beach of Puerto Azul.....can you find the Puerto and the Azul there? Well,we tried to appreciate the beach..knowing that only the club members were aloud to visit the resort.

Sultanate style Resto........nobody eats there except us..ehehehee.But the foods were so expensive that almost drained your pocket.

My first jetski ride ever.....this was the most ecstatic part in Puerto Azul amidst of the disappointing beach.Down on to my crotch was Jack, goofin around in gayness as I was about to speed up for my jetski ride.

Golf course area...Teacher J-Anne and teacher Amor...exotic teachers with nice voices...really.Only the club members of Puerto Azul were aloud to play golf and take a splunge in the beach.

With our Students.....well,they were enjoying though.....We closed our mouth not to give negative comments about the beach.

Puerto Azul by 5 in the afternoon.....quite soothing and relaxing..Many from our korean students appreciate the sunset and took their time watching the sun went down.

Larry our student...looking towards the melancholic sunset....that's one of the most attracting site in Puerto Azul during afternoon....good for dating and rejuvenating for the weary soul.

Yours truly..recharging for awhile...see the beach? it's not that simply impressive but you'll enjoy the sunset and the jetski ride..believe me.

TOP 500 UNIVERSITIES IN THE WORLD

Was absent for awhile and failed to post anything in here.Well,I took this article from another blog because it sounds so very interesting,I guess, specially Philippines 5 Top Universities included in the lists.Too bad, my school didn't come out on the list.

Top 500 Universities in the World

Four schools in the Philippines are among the Top 500 Universities in the World.
The research and study was undertaken by Times Higher Education Supplement-
Quacquarelli Symonds (THES-QS) World University Rankings.

The top 500 universities were chosen from among 15,000 educational institutions
worldwide. To be part of this elite list of universities, the institution has to meet
several stringent criteria, including faculty-to-student ratios and ratings given by
more than 3,000 academicians & 700 leading international employment recruiters.
The University of the Philippines (UP) was the highest ranked local
school with a global ranking of 299 and 47th among Asian universities. Behind
UP in the list are three private universities:

De La Salle (392nd),
Ateneo de Manila (484th), and the
University of Santo Tomas at 500th.

Meanwhile, the top 20 leading universities in the world are the following:
Harvard (1st), Cambridge (2nd), Oxford (3rd), Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and Yale (tying for 4th), Stanford (6th), California Institute of
Technology (7th), University of California in Berkeley (8th), Imperial
College London (9th), Princeton (10th), University of Chicago (11th),
Columbia (12th), Duke (13th), Beijing University (14th), Cornell (15th),
Australian National University (16th), London School of Economics (17th),
Ecole Normale Superieure (18th), National University of Singapore and
Tokyo University (tying for 19th).

Many of the top universities are American and British, but there are
sprinkles of representation from Australia, France, China, Singapore
and Japan. Most of the leading American universities are private; in
fact, on that top 20 list, the University of California Berkeley is the only
American public institution.

Among the leading Asia-Pacific universities on the THES-QS list of the
world's 500 leading universities, 90 are from Asia. Japan leads with 28,
followed by China (including Hong Kong) with 16, Taiwan with 8, South
Korea and Thailand with 7 each, Malaysia, Indonesia & the Philippines
with 4 each, Australia with 3, Singapore with 2 and Bangladesh with one.

RIGHTS OF LEFTIES

Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Julius Caesar, and Napoleon. What to do these men have in common? They were all left-handed! Beginning early in history,Southpaws or left-handed have been feared, neglected, and punished....whew,thanks God I was in the 70's.But finally, they are getting recognition for their achievements.
For many years, the use of the lef-hand was considered evil...well,people at those times were not civilized and educationally professionals. In fact, the Latib word for "left" is "sinister".Because of this prejudice against the left,left-handed people were forced to switch hands.
This change caused many problems for lefties in school, which resulted in frustration, bad behavior, and high drop-out rates.
Maybe that is why lefties were stereotyped as unintelligent. But this could not be further from the truth.
To understand intelligence, we need to understand the brain.Researchers studying the brain have found differences in the left side and right side of the brain.Researchers believe that people who use more of the left side of their brain tend to be more intelligent. They also tend to use language better and solve problems faster.
However, one study also showed that left-brain people tend to have worse memories.
So which side of the brain do lefties use? Actually, both. Right-handed people use the left side of the brain more, whereas left-handed people use both sides of the brain almost equally. The part connecting the two halves of the brain is usually larger in left-handed people.
Approximately ten percent of the world is left-handed, and the ratio of left-handed males to left-handed females is 20 to 1. Thankfully, parents and teachers no longer treat left-handedness as a problem to be cured....at least. It may actually contribute to a child's excellence! By allowing lefties to learn and develop in their own way, they will excel in school.
And perhaps one of these lefties might turn out to be the next Einstein or Da Vinci..

WOW PHILIPPINES

I would like to share this video performed by various top singers of the country promoting Wow Philippines religiously inviting everyone, which I strongly believed that somehow Filipinos would definitively take their time to visit the forgotten tourist destinations of our country.Sad to say that, some Filipinos prefer to visit other countries squanderedly spending much of their money, instead of patronizing our very own.

BYAHE TAYO
Ikaw ba'y nalulungkot
Naiinip, nababagot?
Ikaw ba'y napapagod
Araw gabi'y puro kayod?

Buhay mo ba'y walang saysay
Walang sigla, walang kulay?
Bawa't araw ba'y pareho
Parang walang pagbabago?

Tara na, biyahe tayo
Kasama ang pamilya
Barkada at buong grupo
Para mag-enjoy nang todo.

Halika, biyahe tayo,
Nang ating makita
Ang ganda ng Pilipinas
Ang galing ng Pilipino.

Napasyal ka na ba
Sa Intramuros at Luneta
Palawan, Vigan at Batanes
Subic, Baguio at Rice Terraces?

Namasdan mo na ba
Ang mga vinta ng Zamboanga
Bulkang Taal, Bulkang Mayon
Beach ng Boracay at La Union?

Tara na, biyahe tayo
Mula Basco hanggang Jolo
Nang makilala ng husto
Ang ating kapwa-Pilipino.

Halika, biyahe tayo,
Nang ating makita
Ang ganda ng Pilipinas
Ang galing ng Pilipino.

From city to city,
Seven thousand and a hundred plus islas
Sa mahal kong Pilipinas
Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao ating puntahan.
Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan!

Nasubukan mo na bang
Mag-rapids sa Pagsanjan
Mag-diving sa Anilao
Mag-surfing sa Siargao?

Natikman mo na ba
Ang sisig ng Pampanga
Duriang Davao, Bangus Dagupan
Bicol Express at Lechong Balayan?

Tara na, biyahe tayo,
Nang makatulong kahit pano
Sa pag-unlad ng kabuhayan
Ng ating mga kababayan.

Halika, biyahe tayo,
Nang ating makita
Ang ganda ng Pilipinas
Ang galing ng Pilipino.

Nakisaya ka na ba
Sa Pahiyas at Masskara
Moriones at Ati-Atihan
Sinulog at Kadayawan?

Namiesta ka na ba
Sa Penafrancia sa Naga
Umakyat sa Antipolo
Nagsayaw sa Obando?

Tara na, biyahe tayo
Upang ating matamo
Ligaya at pagkakaibigan
Kaunlaran, kapayapaan.

Halika, biyahe tayo,
Nang ating makita
Ang ganda ng Pilipinas
Ang galing ng Pilipino.

Tara na, biyahe tayo
Upang ating matamo
Ligaya at pagkakaibigan
Kaunlaran, kapayapaan.

Halika, biyahe tayo
Nang ating makita
Ang ganda ng Pilipinas
Ang galing ng Pilipino.

Halika, biyahe tayo...

PAGSANJAN RAPIDS

The Jewel of Southern Laguna,Pagsanjan Falls.

There can be no pleasurable days in my life but to experience of being a visitant among the pride of the Philippines.
Since elementary, usual oft repeated phrases of our teachers that Philippines is rich in tourist attraction, and one of them is Pagsanjan Falls at Southern part of Laguna.
I can't imagine how thrilled it was to see the rapids of Pagsanjan Falls. At last,I can proudly say that I have been to places where you can only see at postcards.

On the way to the falls was filled with untouched forest....High and panting cliff covered with lushful grass and trees.

Amidst of the turbid water, countless kids and other adults enjoying their swimming in the river just to refresh their selves from the excruciating heat of summer.

Yours truly at Pagsanjan falls at my back.....just see how rapids and beautiful Pagsanjan in personal.I can't believe that I got the chance to visit the falls..but I am looking forward of visiting Pagsanjan again.

On the way to Pagsanjan..with our boatmen. One at the front and the other at the back...the way to Pagsanjan wasn't easy yet, ecstaticly thrilling.I can feel the agony of our boatmen how they go through of this kind of job with three passengers.

Colorful boats for rent at 650.00 per person. But don't just go on directly to those fixers at the road calling tourists for boating..they will charge you high.

Our Korean students on their way to the cascading falls of Pagsanjan.Koreans and Chinese tourists were the usual visitors who came just to see how beautiful Pagsanjan is.
