YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW

Today is the tomorrow I worried about yesterday
And today was such a lovely day,
that I wondered why I worried about today yesterday
So today I am not going to worry about tomorrow
There may not be a tomorrow anyway
So today I am going to live as if there is no tomorrow
And I am going to forget about yesterday.

Today is the tomorrow I planned for yesterday
And nearly all my plans for today did not plan out the way I thought they would yesterday

So today I am forgetting about tomorrow and I will plan for today
But not too strenuously
Today I will stop to smell a rose
I will tell a loved one how much I love her
I will stop planning for tomorrow and plan to make today the best day of my life.

Today is the tomorrow I was afraid of yesterday
And today was nothing to be afraid of
So today I will banish fear of the unknown
I will embrace the unknown as a learning experience full of exciting opportunities
Today, unlike yesterday I will not fear tomorrow.

Today is the tomorrow I dreamed about yesterday
And some of the dreams I dreamt about yesterday came true today
So today I am going to continue dreaming about tomorrow
And perhaps more of the dreams I dream today will come true tomorrow.

Today is the tomorrow I set goals for yesterday And I reached some of those goals today So today I am going to set slightly higher goals for today and tomorrow And if tomorrow turns out to be like today I will certainly reach all of my goals one day!

The weather isn't good this time... Supposedly, today must be a hot summer but it turned out to be rainy in the midst of summer..funny isn't it? Life is just like that, full of drama and mystery, sometimes your happy and lucky and suddenly things will turn out so gloomy, very unpredictable.
While reading and touring the entire blogosphere, a poem which is "Makulit" of sort was posted by a certain blogger name Jan, because of its kakulitan I was tempted to copy it and posted it here with the hope everyone might appreciate just as I do too and understand the thought behind the message with a question;
Once again, I just amused myself by watching a bundle of movies while I'm still a couch potato this time temporarily. Two movies from the 80's and one was an event happened back in the late 70's till 80's but the film was shot early of year 2000 which brought so much flashback in mind while I was savoring the 80 tempo of the movies.
One of it, is my fave since it was starred by Brooke Shields, my childhood crush.I had viewed it once incompletely the reasoned I downloaded it again. She was the crush of the 80's lads that time, because she is stunned, with a very beautiful face and a good actress then.
Endless Love movie, was an action of teens rebellious way back in the 80's, meaning a forbidden love.Brooke Shields became more famous when this movie had shown globally...of course with its timeless theme song " Endless Love" sang by Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie.
9 1/2 Weeks movie, was a very steamy and sexy movie yet somewhat psychological. It tells about passion on love and sex, sadomasochistic relationship involvement of sexy actress Kim Basinger nudity. This movie was an old and original 90's version of "Basic Instinct", though the story was different but it involved the same erotic scenes and nudity (nudity of Sharon Stone at Basic Instinct). The 3rd movie I watched was Studio 54.The actors who had played on the movie were actors of today like Ryan Philippe, Selma Hayek but the setting and the whole pictures was happening during the heady days of 70's-80's.This movie reminds me of so much music and people who usually attended the hottest disco of all time naming the rich and famous, not only on showbiz but in politics. Well, that once famous disco was named by the christian groups as the Sodomic city in New York because of it's sexually activities, drugs, etc. So much lessons to learn about these movies, regardless of its rate as sexy and a dim erotic.
Life is like a movie, written, produced, played by us but directed by God...it's a one take movie, sometimes its blockbuster most likely a flopped. That's where we cried, stumble, worried and discouraged...nonetheless as a human nature just as we are we can't think and ask why....

IT PAYS TO BE HUMAN

1. You have a right to be happy today.
But first have a reason to get out of bed.
2. Stretch yourself and go after your goals.
Even if others consider them to be too ambitious to accomplish.
3. Be sure others have a clear picture of the journey.
No one can follow a confused map.
4. Try to be transparent, clear and truthful.
Even when it is difficult. Above all, when it is difficult.
5. Lying is upsetting.
Believing you becomes very tedious.
6. Spend an entire day caring for others.
You will be surprised.
7. You build a reputation in twenty years.
You destroy it in five.
8. Little acts of unkindness do not kill.
They simply create the next criminal.
9. If you want others to listen to you,
Listen to them.
10. When we talk, both of us end up winners.
Always.

PROTEST BOREDOM

Working and keeping occupied is one way of escaping boredom...I've been an idle (for) nearly 3 weeks because (of) I'm getting tired of my life teaching the Koreans with a customary or regular course of procedure routinely(everyday).
I really have no options its because that's the biggest way of getting big money in the quickest time, which is in line to my course.
Because boredom kept attacking me,I decided to quit for a while and stop whinning about teaching Koreans...I refused to teach in a formal school so as they just give you a meager salary after all those enclosure or "kaltas" thing. To unwind, resting for a while and enjoying myself as jobless was the first thing that I did and watching fave movies of course.
My closefriend Jackson Daguio had sent me his downloaded movies through bluetooth which I saved (them) in my cell phone.
The movies were "Remember the Titans" and "Blood Diamond"

Starred by Denzel Washington,he is memorable in Remember the Titans because of the demeanor as a football team coach during the times of racial tension between the Black and the White.I was inspired by this movie, viewing how Denzel pushed so hard the power of acceptance regardless of the color of your skin as long as you are in the same team you are all equal.Even in the early 70's,black were having a hard time of jiving the society where the majority is white. The movie was based in a true story.

The film tells the story of Solomon Vandy (Djimon Hounsou), a fisherman who is enslaved to mine for blood diamonds. He finds a large one, which he hides before being captured. In jail he meets Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio), a mercenary who smuggles diamonds. They escape and go to the warzone to retrieve the diamond. On the way they are joined by Maddy Bowen (Jennifer Connely). The rest is an action movie with characters on the run in a conflict ridden paradise.

The movie were satisfying, specially "Remember the Titans".It reminds me of how the black Americans were being deprived of having the equal opportunity with the white.Nearly 3 weeks of being idle was enjoying after all,at least I got my body firm from a long sleeps without rushing and thinking of works.

LISTENING IN THE STILLNESS

Was there a point in your life when you felt so tired and were ready to give up on life? Or have you felt that you were a victim of frustration and fate seems to be unkind?
Have you felt at times in your life that you were just going around in the cycles ,nowhere to go?
In life's journey, we sometimes find ourselves in the middle of despair and lost in a barren wilderness of frustrations.Just last month, fears and anxiety had made me restless and caused my insomnia to attack me every night up to now.
As I look the fast changes of this world, worrying for the future brought so much trouble in mind as if tomorrow is the end of the world.Searching for a better future or stable job is the impossibility of the possible.
I always dreaming of getting out the country just to try my luck...since the grass is more greener on the other side.
My job doesn't give me satisfaction financially especially that I am getting on in years. As I always begging the good Lord to open the door of opportunities abroad,He answered my humble request unknowing that it wasn't really the perfect answer given by God but a sort of trials to test my patience.
A petition letter from USA had just arrived unexpectedly for a missionary call, but to my excitement everything went in vain because of the financial scarcity I had then.
Doubt questions popped out and asking the Lord so many Why's...
I was disappointed and spiritually drought that apathy started to grow in my heart. For a couple of days of refusing to talk to the Lord,I gave in and offered a peace offering for the Lord.
Just realized that God invites me to stop for a while and be still and silent before Him over my dreams of going to US.Indeed, sometimes God emptied my pockets so He can fill my hearts of love.
Now,I don't let the noise of my dreams drown the voice of God.
