LESSONS FROM MY FATHER
"Any Man Can Be A Father ...But It Takes Someone SPECIAL to be A Dad!" according to Penny Parker.
I would like to take this time and opportunity to share very special someone to me...My Father.
As I've grown older,I've been able to see a much different perspective of a man I've always known. The years have led me where I am now, weathered with maturity and responsibilities. I can see much more clearly now the hardships, burdens of love, and the very many sacrifices he made for me and for our family. I don't believe we could have ever found a more dedicated father than what he's always been to us.
He was the reasons why I've known God opposite to the belief of my mother which was contrary to what I expect from her.
He taught me how to sacrifice,to be a God-fearing and most of all the lesson that I won't hold out is to be a good Prayerful man.
My father is a very prayerful man,religious,God-fearing,patient,humble,an image of a father that I could possibly imagine of a father in the world. What I like most of my father is his strong relationship to God that somehow I long to have with.I really wish to be like him in most cases.
To my father...I love you so much Pa...you are my hero,my confidante and my religious adviser....my greetings might be late, however,I still love to express Happy Father's Day to you and to all the Father's in the world.

MUSINGS ON LIFE
Living in this world involves walking, journeying and wandering...sometimes the travel passes to the crooked roads from the pit down to the abyss.
It is an introspective musings on life..
I just love to share this Musings which I got from my church...hope you can relate and understand fully what it takes to be in this world...and its purpose.
Life is a journey. On various occasions,a Christian is asked to make a stand on issues that unknown to him that effects a lifetime influence on others.Often the challenge is on his stand against the strong tide of popular opinion. It puts him to a test on whether he would succumb to the pressures of the crowd or he would choose to follow the narrow path that God has perfectly designed for him.
If one person decides against engaging on earthly pleasures and heed God's commands, certainly,God will open opportunities for his life to leave an impact that will send ripples far beyond measure.
A Christian must not lose his peculiar identity of being the child of God;instead he must be an exemplar in thought,in words and in actions.
It is never an easy task.It takes a courageous heart to set the pace and salt the world with a positive Christian influence.God is looking for thermostats responsible for regulating and stabilizing the temperature in its environment. He does not need a thermometer that adapts and adjust to the temperature of its surroundings.
When you come to the crossroads of your life's journey, what do you choose to be: a thermostat for God or a thermometer for the world?

DESIRED THINGS
The life-giving element of this planet relaxes both the physical, spiritual, body, and the soul as you wake up every morning seeing the rhythmic lights of the sun trickling and invigorate you with its playful ripples as it engulfs your surroundings with its calm serenity.
Every creatures should delight in the masterful architecture of God but as man develops and started to learn,he took advantage what the world has to offer.Unsatisfied of what the eyes can see,man destroys the beauty of this world..and the rest of the creations were corrupted.
I always desired of a life that you can lay back, relax, and feel the luxury of time,in a place where there are no boundaries,no limits.
Every time I laze the day away, the famous prose poem " Desiderata" inspired me which every details of its thought takes me to realm of quiet relaxation that creates an earthy touch to every wall, door, room, and window of this world as we called home.
I salute the author for creating this wonderful piece which I believe every man desired to be.Let me post this poem as it relish you in an intimate moments that makes you forget about the troubling world outside.
Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
Max Ehrmann, 1927
Enjoy the poem, bask in tender pleasure as it tranquils embrace you and take you to a dream of infinite serenity.

GROW OLD ALONG WITH FRIENDS
Long lost friends aren't hard to find nowadays; you just need to look or search in the internet using the biggest search engine online Google and of course the largest community haven of the Filipinos-Friendster.com.
Internet has been a good starting point for the search.Especially finding friends from childhood days even high school to College.I thank God that He allowed somebody to invent internet so as it'll be easier for us to find friends in the quickest time.
Through the midst of my digging the net in trying to find friends,I stumbled into the blogsite of my batchmate in OCNHS.The blogsite is entirely for the Sci-Hi batch 90.
Olongapo City National High School has two forms of academe-the Sci-Hi and the National School, but these two were in the same pillar and academy of OCNHS.
I was taken aback knowing the author of the blogsite is my neighbor and a childhood playmate. For 18 long years,we haven't seen each other nor having any scuttlebutt of each others whereabouts.Long before I came back to Olongapo from such a lengthy disappearance he was no longer in the nearby house but migrated to US with the rest of his family.
Honestly,my heart abounds with happiness seeing him online and successfully made his life in America. With all sincerity,we weren't that intimate as close since he was not fond of "Nangangapit Bahay" of sorts.During our high school days,he was in the Science High and I was in the National.
We just nodded our heads ecstatically the moment we'd met in the school campus and sometimes sharing our snacks.
Having someone you considerably a buddy promotes the rapid acquisition of friendship photos and messages display an emerged promising decoys through in a virtual world.
It so nice to see that you both grew up in the same place, time and was separated by distance and long silence, yet, growing old again commemorating the happy bygone days.
