Photoblog: Siquijor - 2025 Summer Vacation!

It's been a while since I last blogged, as vlogging and TikTok have become the new trends, pushing blogging to the sidelines. It's unfortunate because blogging is a wonderful way to express oneself through writing and storytelling, much like an online journal that replaces a traditional diary.
But here I am, back at it! I've shared some photos for a touch of nostalgia and to capture memories. My 2025 summer vacation in the Philippines was enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed it, which I repeated throughout my afternoon walk exercise with my cousins, which I normally do in Thailand as part of my daily exercise. As a result, I tend to remember the forgotten roads I used to take with my parents when I was younger, back in the 1980s.

Photo Blog: Home - Siquijor Province

Abroad, incredible work, modest compensations, sounds extremely amazing and undoubtedly is great yet the entirety of that accompanies a few penances we make, intentionally.

Hardly any thousand miles from home the Philippines is likely the most troublesome thing to persevere. It's excruciating. With the assistance of this innovation, I could undoubtedly message my good pal Michael about the new advancement of home, and some way or another the chat winds up in tears with each wailing about the amount I miss home.

It isn't a significant part of the food, not the celebrations that I miss of home so a lot, it's the adoration, friends, the peaceful & simplicity of the island, but most of all family…

Photo Blog: Home Part 4

  • “The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.”
  • Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.”

Home is where the heart is, and it's always been. I always experience slight challenging emotions and feelings of sadness because my heart has been seeking of going home. However, the challenge of going home because of this pandemic has always been a burden since the increased number of covid in the Philippines.
Herewith, are the pictures of my beautiful island called home - Siquijor. The photos aren't mine but I grabbed them from someone who has the eye of photography just only using a phone.
