The Best is Yet to Come

Sorry for the delayed post. Yes, I know I haven't blogged for a while, been busy of my oversea's applying so as doing my English twang tutorials for the Koreans, and getting back on the grind now.
Not just because I don't post here that much - I totally leave the blogging thing. I always getting this blog up and running & promise to share ideas what I'm cooking up.
I just simply love the text above, as you know - things have been so tight & difficult to describe since I arrived home for 6 months now. Plans has always been staying shortly in the Philippines, & back to my usual task of sharing my knowledge overseas in the form of teaching internationally.

Another cold lonesome Christmas again to celebrate, been asking what have I done so badly in the past that things is still so rough and tight till now? All tears have dried up & battered heart, no more words to say but my soul is in anguish. How long shall my unmitigated anguish continue?
They said, the best is yet to come. When is the best time to come? I'm so tired of being tired and tired of asking. Do prayer really works? I felt like talking to a wall when I pray, there's no answer or do the answer may be long and delayed?
My faith has been tested and dunno how far would I let myself to go, only heaven knows.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

That's exactly what you are going to do when "Life gives you Lemons, Make Lemonade", meaning; that if live gives you something sour turn it sweet, make the best of what you're given.
I visited a friend on his work just a minute away from my whereabouts to talk something seriously, like life and eternal things. As I kept myself busy while he was attending errands, an article from Manila Bulletin caught my attention; " When Life Gives You Lemons..." it gave me so much irk to read the whole contents that made me to pause for a while and thought that I myself has been into Lemons in life.

Here is the excerpt of the article just the excerpt - I could not copy them all but to shorten the important ones.
" WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS..."
Focus on the positives:
No matter how bad a situation may seem, it is always possible to find at least on positive thing about the situation if you try. Try your best to focus on what you have learned and gained from your experience rather than on what you have lost.

Take away the emotion:
It is obviously difficult to view disappointments and setbacks in life without feeling some sort of emotion. Rather than getting carried away with your own interpretations of how disastrous things are, try to look at the situation a little more objectively.

Be your own best friend:
We often see ourselves in the worst light, particularly when life isn't going how we want it to. However, it is important not to be hard on yourself just because something in your life hasn't worked out. Even the world's most beautiful and successful people have faced failure and rejection at some point in their lives.

Get a support system:
You may think that dealing with your problems all by yourself is the "grown up" thing to do. However, all of us need support at times, and asking those you love for help is not a sign of weakness.

Look to the future:
It is easy to get caught up in the "what ifs" and "why mes" when things go wrong in life. Dwelling on your own disappointment will not help the situation. As Alexander Graham Bell stated; When one door closes another door opens, but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us. The situation may not feel great and it may seem fair, whether you like it or not. Rather than dwelling on what could have been, start planning now where you can go from here.

Form a plan B:
Unfortunately in life our plan A doesn't always work out. Sometimes we have to wait a little longer than we would like for what we want, and sometimes those things just aren't meant to be at all. Remember there are many routes to happiness and just because one thing hasn't worked out that doesn't mean there's nothing to take its place.

Seek Happiness:
We often think that happiness should be something that comes to us naturally, without any effort on our part. However, very often happiness is a choice, not something that just falls upon us of its own accord. Make a choice to be happy by becoming a positive thinker, surrounding yourself with supportive friends, doing the things that you enjoy and looking after yourself. Even if you don't feel like smiling or being happy right now, by acting how you want to feel, the feelings will often naturally follow.

The Paradox of Our Age

I read this poem a long time ago that touched me and moved me in some way everytime I read it. It touches my soul and sometimes it gives me some sort of insight and different thoughts to ponder. With this poem, I've been able to stop and realize just how small I have donely good in life and how I should I try that much harder to be happy, understanding and tolerant. This moving piece has been an inspiration for me to be more appreciative for all that I have every day in life.
The essay appeared under the title "The Paradox of Our Age" in Words Aptly Spoken, Dr. Moorehead's 1995 collection of prayers, homilies, and monologues used in his sermons and radio broadcasts.

THE PARADOX OF OUR TIME IN HISTORY IS THAT ...
We have taller buildings ... but shorter tempers;
Wider freeways ... but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more ... but have less;
We buy more ... but enjoy it less.
We have bigger houses ... but smaller families;
More conveniences ... but less time;

We have more degrees ... but less sense;
More knowledge ... but less judgment;
More experts ... but more problems;
More medicine ... but less wellness.

We drink too much,
Smoke too much,
Spend too recklessly,
Laugh too little,
Drive too fast,
Get angry too quickly,
Stay up too late,
Get up too tired,
Read too seldom,
Watch TV too much,
And pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions ...
But reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom ...
And hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living ...
But not a life.
We've added years to life ...
But not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back ...
But have trouble crossing the street
To meet the new neighbor.

We've conquered outer space ...
But not inner space.
We've done larger things ...
But not better things.

We've cleaned up the air ...
But polluted the soul.
We've split the atom ...
But not our prejudice.

We write more ...
But learn less.
We plan more ...
But accomplish less.
We've learned to rush ...
But not to wait.

We have higher incomes ...
But lower morals.
We have more food ... but less appeasement;
More acquaintances ... but fewer friends;
More effort ... but less success.

We build more computers to hold more information,
To produce more copies than ever ...
But have less communication.
We've become long on quantity ...
But short on quality.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion;
Tall men, and short character;
Steep profits, and shallow relationships.

These are the times of world peace ...
But domestic warfare.
More leisure ... and less fun;
More kinds of food ... but less nutrition.
These are days of two incomes ... but more divorce;
Of fancier houses ... but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips,
Disposable diapers,
Throwaway morality,
One-night stands,
Overweight bodies,
And pills that do everything ...
From cheer ...
To quiet ...
To kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window ...
And nothing in the stockroom.

Indeed it's all true.

Think about it ... read this again.

The Things I Realized About Life

As I grow older, my perspective in life has changed a lot. I tried to be fair and mutual when things has not the way I wanted to be at all times. I guess, it is already a sign of maturity in me. Sometimes life is so hard to understand when you see it in a different angle, yet, that's the way it has to be. It is not exactly the perfection in life that matters, because nobody's perfect but the appreciation that counts.
Life isn't fair no matter how tragic the surrounding could be, still it's good. No one know's you better than your family. As always, things are not always as complicated as you make them out to be, there is always and so much to be thankful for.
Herewith, are the list of the "Things I Realized About Life" which I copied from Definitely Filipino. As I go down all the way from the list, my realizations proved me right that I need to be fair and just.

1. Reality changes. It depends on what perspective you take.
2. No one’s really objective, your experience and the people that surrounds you affect your judgment about things. People see things the way they want to see it.
3. First impression is important. It will always comes into your way. How one perceives you and how you perceive others will determine the relationship that you will have with them.
4. It is difficult to think rationally when you are emotionally involved.
5. Student life and work life are two different things. The moment you left college and started working, everything changes. College buddies will be replaced by officemates; making ends meet with your income is another thing. Your parents will be your last resort when you need money.
6. It is the way you carry yourself in all circumstances that matters. No matter what the situation is and how clueless you are in the situation that you got yourself into.
7. Know yourself. People will always be judgmental. At the end of the day, you are the only person who will answer for yourself.
8. When something screwed up, we tend to look for others to be blamed. Guess what? It’s human nature. Sometimes it is difficult for us to accept we are at fault.
9. There will always be good days that all you wanted to do all day is to laugh. Nothing can ruin your good mood. And there will always be days that even the simple things annoy the hell out of you.
10. Don’t overanalyze things. Just accept it the way it is.
11. No matter how good your intentions are, people will have good and bad interpretation of what you have done.
12. Don’t generalize. You might be surprised about the thing called “individual differences”.
13. Dream big. You’ll never know how important it is until it happened.
14. History repeats itself.
15. Power changes everything. People will do everything just for power.
16. It is the way you deliver your message that changes everything.
17. You’ve got to know a person first before you can judge his character.
18. What you sow, you reap.
19. Everything happens for a reason.
20. There is always hope. Even if the situation couldn’t get any worse.
21. Don’t dwell on your problem too much. Sometimes fate has its own way of solving it.
22. Destiny comes into the way, but it also needs your consent before it happens.
23. Age is a number when you started working.
24. When you do not conform with other people’s opinions, they would presume that you are weird or a deviant.
25. It’s not good to compare yourself with others but sometimes it will push us to do better, strive harder and be competitive.
26. When you were a fresh graduate, all you wanted was to have an experience and as you grow older, you realized that money plays a vital role in one’s job.
27. There are always two sides of the coin.
28. Hurt, betrayal and disappointment are part of life.
29. You can forgive, but it is hard to forget.
30. Don’t argue with your boss. After all, no one wins an argument with the boss.
31. Sometimes it is hard to be happy for someone else’s success. It only highlights your weaknesses.
32. Positivism and realism are two different things.
33.Don’t take everything personally. Sometimes, people are just too caught up with their own problems to be aware of their actions.

Life Lessons from the Movie Kung Fu Panda 2

I downloaded a recent movie Kung Fu Panda 2, at first I was hesitant to do it since it's cartoon and more on kiddy type of movie thing. However, my instinct wins so I watched it and realized the lessons we can practically get out of the story of the movie itself. Practically recommending this movie to adults especially to those are battling to get inner peace within theirselves and appreciating who they are. Herewith, is a long list I got online about the Life Lesson we can get from this movie Kung Fu Panda 2, it's a long texts to hit but worth to read.

Photobucket
In KUNG FU PANDA 2, Po's new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will Po be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.
Who would’ve thought a movie about an overweight Panda and a vengeful peacock would give us goose bumps? Seriously, from start to finish we were endowed with little nuggets of wisdom,
and quotes cleverly delivered by the various characters. Animated or not, wisdom can be found anywhere. All you have to do is look and listen with an open mind.
Photobucket
Lesson # 1 : God’s will, will be done.
Po didn’t even know he was chosen; he was selected long before he was born. But there was this peacock who knew from an oracle that a panda would finally seal his fate. So he had his minions kill all the pandas in China. He was an ordinary old panda. But God uses the ordinary, and no matter what anybody says, no one can stop God’s will for your life, not even cocky little peacocks.
You are the master of your destiny: No-one and nothing can come in between you and your destiny, except you. Take destiny by the horns and have fun.
Lesson # 2 : A Pretty Plume won’t make you happy.
Shen the peacock had a gorgeous plume, but he still wasn’t happy. Because he wasn’t happy, he spent his entire life trying to make everyone miserable. When he meets Po the Panda he is in awe of how peaceful he is. Po has nothing going for him. Yet he was comfortable with himself and had inner peace. As Master Shifu stated, “Remember…anything is possible if you have inner peace.”
You don’t need to meditate for hours and hours to attain inner peace and enlightenment. You need only see, feel, act from the heart. Let the heart guide you to your peaceful enlightenment.
Lesson # 3 : The only thing that matters is what you choose now.
Shen (the peacock) asked the Panda how he did it. Shen reminded Po that he’d killed his parents and almost killed him. Po told the peacock he had to let go of the past and choose right then to move forward. The point here is that holding on to pain from the past keeps you from obtaining inner peace. We have to choose now to embrace inner peace and let go of the things that hold us down. Don’t push past memories deeper inside of yourself. Let those memories breathe and let old wounds heal.
Lesson # 4 : Having it all means absolutely nothing
Shen had it all. His mother and father were rulers of the land. He was rich. He was smart. He was a pretty peacock with brilliant feathers, but he was empty. He wanted more. Even though Shen had everything, he still ended up with nothing. Po (the panda) on the other hand, had absolutely nothing. No one thought he’d amount to much except maybe a good noodle maker, but he becomes a hero. Be ONLY Yourself because Inner peace, calmness comes only when you are completely at ease with yourself- physically and emotionally.
Lesson # 5 : Anything is possible with inner peace
It’s a good thing we watched Kung Fu Panda 2 then. Thanks for the reminder Master Shifu! Come to think of it, when we are peaceful within, there would be a lot more peaceful and happier communities. (Isn’t that how the song – One More Gift – goes: “Grant me serenity within.. for the confusions around are mere reflections of what’s within.. what’s within me?”)
Achieving inner peace is also achieving inner strength.
Lesson # 6 : I know who I am
This reminded me of the importance of knowing who we really are – we are all, whether you choose to believe it or not – sons and daughters of God. “Who we are” is not so much defined by what we can do (remember Po, who said that if there was no Kung Fu, then he wouldn’t know who he was anymore?). We are who we are. Beautifully, wonderfully created to bless the world with our unique talents and skills.
“I know who I am. I’m your son.” – Po to Mr. Ping
Lesson # 7 : Good gifted friends are good gifts
Po had a group of friends that never let him down. They accepted him for who he was and helped him develop his weaknesses into something he could use. All of Po’s friends were super duper Kung Fu fighters, but they were all skilled in unique areas. They weren’t jealous of one another, and once they pulled all those gifts together they made an unstoppable team.
Friends are those who stay with you through thick and thin. No questions asked. Time spent sharing with good friends is equivalent to a thousand meditations. Good friends calm you and help you unburden.
Lesson # 8 : Work together as a team
The other lesson that was taught in the movie is the aspect of team work. There is a success trait called the “Circle of Influence”. The concept is that we are the sum of the 5 most influential people in our lives. Po was surrounded by friends that had common interest and goals, they had to work together to achieve maximum success. Ultimately, they were stronger together then they were apart.Share your gift with the world. Who knows, how many lives you are saving just by doing so. Your gift not only helps you, but all those you come in contact with.
Lesson # 9 : Investing in the next generation.
When Goose Dad saw Baby Po, there was no return of investment immediately. He patiently took care of Po, fed him and treated him like his real son. We as men should invest in our kids and the next generation. Guard the legacy that we have and pass it on to our sons and daughters.
“It takes a village to raise a child”
Lesson # 10 : Go with your gut.
Po could fight back and win against the most notorious enemy. The same is true in our real life, if you believe in yourself, nothing is impossible. You can do anything, as long as you believe you can. Go with your gut, because it’s an awesome conductor.
Your intuition is always active and alive. Go with your gut. It’s an awesome conductor.
Lesson # 11 : Notice the signs and take the lead.
It may just be a life lesson that you need to take. Life is never a bed of roses. If you do not recognize the lesson for what it is, you will find yourself continually stuck or attracting more of the same. You are in a vicious cycle, unable to break out. Step aside, take notes and learn from there. Notice the signs and take the lead. Then, you will find yourself moving on, becoming a more evolved and higher Self. The Universe is constantly giving you signs and messages for your journey. Notice them. Take the lead.
Lesson # 12 : Embrace your awesomeness
What Po dreamed about was right: you can’t really have enough awesomeness in your life. Embrace your awesomeness and dream your biggest dream and have faith it will come true. If Kung Fu Panda did it, you’ll do it too. There isn’t any, really. That’s just a fact!!!

CONTRASTED LIVES

CONSTRASTED LIVES
Jesus and Alexander died at 33.
One lived and died for seld; one died for you and me.
The Greek died on a throne; the Jew died on a cross.
One's life a triumph seemed; the other but a loss.
One's led vast armies forth; the other walked alone.
One shed a whole world's blood; the other gave His own.
One won the world in life and lost it all in death;
the other lost His life to win the whole world's faith.
Jesus and Alexander died at 33.
The Greek made all men slaves; the Jew made all men free.
One built a throne on blood; the other built on love.
The one was born of earth; the other from above.
The one won all this earth, to lose all earth and heaven.
The other gave up all, that all to Him be given.
The Greek forever died; the Jew forever lives.
He loses all who gets; he wins all things who gives.
-Charles Ross Wedge-

I'm back from such a couple of days in silence...miss blogging and updating. Usually when I blog, I don't just post them here directly without checking and writing them in a piece of paper and check the necessary errors like spelling, grammar and of course digging out my serious ideas with the help of my dictionary using a little hard of vocabularies, before scribbling them here in my personal blog.
These past weeks up to now, have been so painful and excruciating hot weeks. Jobless, penniless, boring life, frustrations and disappoinments keeps on confronting me.
Resulting to this adversaries, I really don't know what to do and where to go. I left for Olongapo the second week of March just to accompany my cousin picking up her estrange bf from Japan.
My stayed there was good since I got the chance to see my classmates back in High School. We discussed about the possible initial reunion of our class. I never been home for 3 years so I seized the opportunities I had to roam around the city.
Familiar landmarks are still there stood in remembrance of the good old Olongapo heydays. When I got back from Olongapo, bundle of problems scattered away. Boy, life is getting harder everyday so as my world is getting smaller in Cavite.
Avoiding the hot boring summer, I stayed at my co-teachers place watching movies as I needed too...wow, you heard that, as much as I want too.
As a movie geek, I sorted them and balancing what movie should I consider to be favorite aside from movies in the 80's.
Among the films I had watched this summer was, "August Rush" captures the moment of my life. Watching it truly moves my heart and bring so much wet of tears in my eyes but I decided to control them so as my co-teachers won't laugh at me.
Gee, love the movie so much, good thing that my co-teachers has a taste on selecting movies that has quality....listen, quality.
So much more, I found this message from a certain devotional while I was browsing the book to pass the time....this Contrasted Lives captured my emotion pondering deeply how God gave His son for us sakes....are we making our lives accorind to His will? its a question that needs an answer right?

Well, here are the movies that erases the boredom I had this week.

IN LIFE; SAFE OR SORRY?

Life could be very tricky. One day you're up, the next day you're down. Having a stable and good paying job is life's safety net against uncertainties.
World crisis is still a financial catastrophic, that leaves the humanity in tears and a pocket threat.
Everyone wants to be successful in life, and success in life is all about finding the perfect fit-with your partner, educations, chose endeavors and more importantly, your career.
We couldn't recognize the small thrive in an environment much different from the one in which we desire to be.
Honest to goodness, we continue to strive not just to earn something in this world but for the survival of the crisis that continue to wash out the world's stability.
At the end of the day, what is important is not simply what you and I have done, but the reason why we do things.
Planning every single of our dreams and desires is like plotting a quarters worth of meals.
After all these struggles in life, anchoring to God's promises is the best propeller that we can use, (as) today's is the eliminations of the unfit and the survival of the fittest.

LIVE WHERE TIME CAN'T REACH YOU

Daydreaming is one of my favorite pastimes. I tried to relish it in a serene privacy to a certain peace and quite place so that I could fully concentrate well. Picturing myself living in a dream place with the undisturbed slopes of the world is truly a perfect time for daydreaming.
Bombarded with so much pressure in the work, political issues, economic crisis, etc. can cruelly tear you down both the emotions and physical.
More than a decade now, I have been plainly rejected and declined by applying abroad. My patience has been tested and the good thing about me is that I never retreat nor surrender. I'm not that strong neither a weak.
I am truly fascinated and happy at the same time seeing my friends back then who successfully made their luck abroad. Almost of them are settling in USA and some of them are partly living in the Middle East.
My daydreaming is still lives on and it wouldn't be drifted till the good break leaps me to a places I long to see. I am already worn out and bored staying in the country without any hopes and assurance. The only simple pleasure I have is checking our batch website in the net every now and then, peeping out what's new and who's newly registered among of my classmates or batchmates in high school.
It's the only recreations I have to eradicate boredoms and monotonous life. Sometimes my updating of this blog takes time before I came to a point of plunging my fingers to type whatever ideas I have.
This is the kind of life I have in right now, yet, I controlled myself of not whining too much as the Lord would certainly sad and refuse to pour out His blessings. Well, that's the life we have in this sinful world.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY:WE ARE LIKE CASSETTE PLAYER

Life is a journey. We are like a CASSETTE PLAYER. It has Play, Rewind, Forward, Record, Eject and Pause. Most of the time we are PLAYING are life journey, Sometimes we REWIND our Past, Also we FAST FORWARD for our dreams and ambitions, We also RECORD most of our experiences. But if you have problems in life, just PAUSE..... but never ever touch the EJECT because that is withdrawal from one's happiness, or even quitting from one's life.PERSONS ARE GIFTS FROM GOD TO US...We are all gifts wrapped with different wrappers and colors. But whether you are wrapped with SPECIAL DELIVERY or ORDINARY PAPER, it's not a big deal because what is important.....you are wrapped with LOVE.You are a person, you are a gift...
(source: www.scihi1990.blogspot.com)

One of the websites that I like to visit is, a website that is being organized by my neighbor and schoolmate in OCNHS..one of the entries of their blog was about Life is a Journey..hence,we are like Cassette player being played repeatedly, aren't we?. We sometimes live the recorded things that we do everyday, or we keep on blaming ourselves about the failures that we have had in the past.
Hence, the quotation above is just a self-explanatory...its up to you on how you see things as it is or how you interpret it.

THE QUIET SHOUT

I just want to leave the comfort zone and make major life changes so I could be as happy as I truly deserved to be....Haaay,hirap ng buhay talaga!
In my quest to search the freedom that I have longed for, hasn't visibly come. Life has been so boring, unfair in such a way that I become eccentric. Surrounded by people whom I have just met not just long ago of years, misjudge me of being wicked, a losser, undesirable, uneasy to get along with and fastidious.
But they don't know practically the real me, that I juggle a grueling unfair life the same fate that they have. Being frank is better than being vulgar, right? That's me, a frank person who never afriads to talk straight and show sincere expression. What's wrong with being frank? I'm just trying to be honest and true, visibly showing the real me instead of acting to be pious superficially but a fake trying hard individuals.
Having a real group of friends since birth and friends whom I just met in the school and in church are the people with whom I dare to be myself, my soul is naked with them only to be who and what I am.These friends understand the contradictions the nature of me that sometimes lead others to misjudge me.Nonetheless, my doors are still open for a new room of set of friends. It's fun to have a lot of friends around you, but in the canopy of a place that I temporarily considered home aren't (a) friends as I expected to be. They don't understand the inner demons of myself, I can't really be myself around with them.
They were blinded the selfishness and egoism that they don't see everything about me and love me of being who I am, but just loving me of what I have that they enjoyed freely, devouring what I earned (heaven forbid). The worm that itches the paranoia in me sparks to a critical perspective that they are just hypocrites and nothing but a family of pharisees, damn heck.
I was in deep distressed that regrettable is the word I choose, accepting somebody and fed them plainly on my palm, yet, turn their back on me. Now I already knew their true colors that easily faded when things turn out to be badly.
They never know the beginning lives of a shadow behind me with all the struggles in-between. I am also doing my best to protect and controlling myself from the predators in life or death struggle. Surviving the harsh changing life is really hard to control which the strong foundation of friendship that you have started literality melting away in front of me.
My heart is shouting quietly which the remedial likely to knock down the pain.
As a saying goes, "No friends-hard life. Many (real good) friends-hard life, but with (real good) friends." Honestly, life is hard nowadays, so why would I worry over to an unworthy to worry of?

THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD

The Long and Winding Road
(The Beattles)

The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here Lead me to you door

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tear
Crying for the day Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way

Many times Ive been alone
And many times Ive cried Any way youll never know
The many ways Ive tried

But still they lead me back
To the long winding road You left me standing here
A long long time ago Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door

But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

According to Paul McCartney the one who composed the song, "I just sat down at my piano in Scotland, started playing and came up with that song, imagining it was going to be done by someone like Ray Charles. I have always found inspiration in the calm beauty of Scotland and again it proved the place where I found inspiration."

"It's rather a sad song. I like writing sad songs, it's a good bag to get into because you can actually acknowledge some deeper feelings of your own and put them in it. It's a good vehicle"

I'm not a fan of Beattles but this song have brought so much impact of emotions into my heart. An emotions that normally feels by individual like me who struggles in life as the long & winding road that I continually travel down the lonely memory lane is a complete unknown destinations.
The winding road is still there and I still am trying to find that road which somehow would bring me to the place of happiness and called success that only relatively few have traveled and found it literally.
Up to now, my journey to the Long and Winding Road has never ended which is truly tiring and pressed me down. Little did I know how long would I embark on this long and winding road as human being as I am, is sometimes weak enough to combat the temptations and the loneliness in life. My life has been travelling on that road since I graduated my education last 2007, wishing that a door of opportunities would just be right there in front of me awaiting for my long knocking.
I have never been succeeded in my plans, so as my heart always asking deeply to the Most High to lead me to that directions that I long wish to see. My heart is bleeding profusely due to the unfulfilled and failure plans. Just can't help myself but to cry of grieve because of the pain continue to prick the flesh of my heart.
Would there be an end to that long and winding road? how long shall I trod and endlessly walking to that road?

LESSONS FROM MY FATHER

"Any Man Can Be A Father ...But It Takes Someone SPECIAL to be A Dad!" according to Penny Parker.
I would like to take this time and opportunity to share very special someone to me...My Father.
As I've grown older,I've been able to see a much different perspective of a man I've always known. The years have led me where I am now, weathered with maturity and responsibilities. I can see much more clearly now the hardships, burdens of love, and the very many sacrifices he made for me and for our family. I don't believe we could have ever found a more dedicated father than what he's always been to us.
He was the reasons why I've known God opposite to the belief of my mother which was contrary to what I expect from her.
He taught me how to sacrifice,to be a God-fearing and most of all the lesson that I won't hold out is to be a good Prayerful man.
My father is a very prayerful man,religious,God-fearing,patient,humble,an image of a father that I could possibly imagine of a father in the world. What I like most of my father is his strong relationship to God that somehow I long to have with.I really wish to be like him in most cases.
To my father...I love you so much Pa...you are my hero,my confidante and my religious adviser....my greetings might be late, however,I still love to express Happy Father's Day to you and to all the Father's in the world.

MUSINGS ON LIFE

Living in this world involves walking, journeying and wandering...sometimes the travel passes to the crooked roads from the pit down to the abyss.
It is an introspective musings on life..
I just love to share this Musings which I got from my church...hope you can relate and understand fully what it takes to be in this world...and its purpose.

Life is a journey. On various occasions,a Christian is asked to make a stand on issues that unknown to him that effects a lifetime influence on others.Often the challenge is on his stand against the strong tide of popular opinion. It puts him to a test on whether he would succumb to the pressures of the crowd or he would choose to follow the narrow path that God has perfectly designed for him.
If one person decides against engaging on earthly pleasures and heed God's commands, certainly,God will open opportunities for his life to leave an impact that will send ripples far beyond measure.
A Christian must not lose his peculiar identity of being the child of God;instead he must be an exemplar in thought,in words and in actions.
It is never an easy task.It takes a courageous heart to set the pace and salt the world with a positive Christian influence.God is looking for thermostats responsible for regulating and stabilizing the temperature in its environment. He does not need a thermometer that adapts and adjust to the temperature of its surroundings.
When you come to the crossroads of your life's journey, what do you choose to be: a thermostat for God or a thermometer for the world?

DESIRED THINGS

The life-giving element of this planet relaxes both the physical, spiritual, body, and the soul as you wake up every morning seeing the rhythmic lights of the sun trickling and invigorate you with its playful ripples as it engulfs your surroundings with its calm serenity.
Every creatures should delight in the masterful architecture of God but as man develops and started to learn,he took advantage what the world has to offer.Unsatisfied of what the eyes can see,man destroys the beauty of this world..and the rest of the creations were corrupted.
I always desired of a life that you can lay back, relax, and feel the luxury of time,in a place where there are no boundaries,no limits.
Every time I laze the day away, the famous prose poem " Desiderata" inspired me which every details of its thought takes me to realm of quiet relaxation that creates an earthy touch to every wall, door, room, and window of this world as we called home.
I salute the author for creating this wonderful piece which I believe every man desired to be.Let me post this poem as it relish you in an intimate moments that makes you forget about the troubling world outside.

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Max Ehrmann, 1927

Enjoy the poem, bask in tender pleasure as it tranquils embrace you and take you to a dream of infinite serenity.

Lonely Journey-According to Eric Chua

Just this morning while I was browsing the net searching for good templates,I just found my way to Maynas Chua blog...the entry was intriguing to me and pushing me to read all the contents with strong agreement.
All of us were into a Lonely-Journey..please do read his writing below....

Lonely Journey
Sometimes when I walk alone, I recall about the past, a not so recent past.
What might have happened if none has happened, is a question that can receive no answers.
What now matters is knowing that the present holds the key to the future, and if I don’t hold hold so tightly,
It will slip away, and slipped away this thing called “time” has had for many a person has let go
Once I have lived in the most beautiful love story no author could have ever wrote,
Then it was broken in a few moments of madness, and I gave everything I could to repair it,
Even if a broken vase is repaired, the cracks can still be seen, yes, this I understand.
But I know what was broken, can never be broken again, because we finally knew it could be broken. Nothing is perfect.
But if it had not happened, and I went back to my home where I came from, I would not have realized important things.
This time with open eyes I saw how everyone around me was struggling, barely making enough to survive, will I be one of them ?
I fear for what might happen if I continued what I was doing, which was the same as them, if I do the same, I will get the same. That is not rocket science and difficult to understand.
And what I chose to do may sound insane to some, I gave up short term gains for long term growth, if they are making barely enough to survive, I was then making nothing to be extinct.
Lonely is the man without love to give up a salary for a chance in business, one that he knew will succeed. But one in which he has to take the role of 10 men with 10 different jobs. How I managed to do it, I did not know. I only thought of 3 things, the future, my family and her.
The start is always difficult they say, and yes it is indeed. Everything was difficult, now it’s easier, much easier. But one thing pains me more than anything else, love. Please don’t disappear into a place where I can never see you again.
I really hope this Lonely Journey would end soon…
And where it leads…
will be a place where we will hold hands again…
I love you and always will.

The pic below is a sculpture of a three women feeling bored of awaiting something....the sculpture speaks that in Life we experienced the intense of waiting...mostlikely, we felt bored and sleep.
This is what my blog has telling me that I should keep my blog updated to avoid boredom of awaiting.

I myself is waiting in anticipation of posting a new one, bringing some new stuff and experiences. It is honestly touching when you write on your blog and somebody stumbled unintentionally, blessed by the entry.
