Glue Thor Waterfalls - Kayin Myanmar
Last July 15, 2018 I went to Kayin state Myanmar to see this massive waterfalls being bragged about by my Karen - Burmese (tribe) student. Lo & behold I was being convinced that I needed to see it myself before going back to Korat. Early morning of Sunday- we off to cross the river with my co teacher and our Karen student as our guide, we hiked almost half an hour to get to this quaint village to rent a car. Surprisingly, there's no public cars or transportation going to the place - so you have to bring your own car of find someone around where you could rent a car. Lucky us, coz our student has a military uncle who works in the area, and we did rent the car 2,000 Baht.
The driving was really far and not so easy as I would have to describe it. You could see a lot of Burmese soldiers scattering around every sides of the road all the way up to the location. I was honestly nervous coz I didn't bring my passport then. Somehow, we saw the waterfalls and it was really nice and huge.
